If money could buy class and culture—Gulf View would be a tolerable place to live.

Welcome. “Gulf View: The dark side of the moon,” tells a dark tale about the pretentious life and how the underhanded dealings of the influential class have led us down a path to social decay. (Gulf View is used both as a real and metaphorical place).

Don’t be discouraged. It’s as humorous and entertaining as it is grim. Topics range from the evil poisoning of innocent animals by “Gulf View Christians” and upright residents to a recipe on how to prepare a social tomato choka, or, rather, “tomato salsa.” The word, choka, has no place in the lexicon of the pretentious life as with other colloquial words and phrases.

If money could buy class and culture—Gulf View would be a tolerable place to live.
